Normally it
is virtually impossible to shrink wrap thin items. The force of
the shrink film warps and buckles the package and the air velocity
tends to float the package around inside the shrink tunnel. However,
with the *Thin Package Fixture™ (TPF) system installed in
the shrink tunnel, both these problems are solved.

The
TPF system is simply a set of rollers that mounts inside the tunnel
to hold the package flat. The rollers ride up and down following
the shape of the package holding it to the belt without blocking
the airflow. Chipboard backing can be eliminated and the package
will remain flat after shrink wrapping.
